POLYDENS Technology GmbH was founded in May 2023 by the Bogadi family, a Slovenian entrepreneurial family with nearly 30 years of successful activity in the plastics and elastomer industry. The goal was to strengthen the company’s position in the European market by establishing its own subsidiary in Austria and introducing the new POLYDENS brand.

Site Development

Initially, the Austrian location functioned primarily as a trading and distribution platform, while production of the products remained largely at the main facility in Slovenia. However, by the first quarter of 2024 it became clear that establishing an in-house production line in Austria was essential to meet rising demand, ensure short delivery times, and provide customized customer solutions.

Strategic Partnership

To build the Austrian production capabilities, an experienced partner with extensive industry expertise was sought – and quickly found in the Kerschbaumer family.

Wolfgang Kerschbaumer, with his previous company Plastoseal Produktions GmbH, set new industry standards between 2005 and the sale of his final shares in 2021 to an American industrial group. The integration of the Kerschbaumer family into POLYDENS in mid-2024 laid the foundation for the systematic expansion of a modern production infrastructure in Austria.

Establishing Production Capabilities

Together, the partners established a highly efficient and precision-driven production line within a short period, completing the strategic shift from a pure trading company to a fully capable plastics manufacturing operation.
